The best quarterback is most likely be Anthony Richards. He’s going to go late in the draft but to a team that has a solid office and a real good defense long-term he’s gonna be better off got it off and go early get her way too much.
He's going to need to sit behind a veteran. I think hendon hooker is a better prospect. But Richardson has better potential.

I agree but richardson should start right away. With players like him and Josh allen, they need reps against live defense not practice reps. He got screwed by the previous Florida coach who didn't play him until it was obvious Emory Jones wasn't the answer. Play richardson day 1 and deal with the troubles for 2 seasons then decide.

Richardson needs 2-3 years of development in his mechanics and he needs to be taught how to read an NFL defense. A good coach is all it takes. The extreme physical talent is there, he just needs to improve on intangibles like throwing mechanics. Young reminds me of Mahomes so I’d take him first, but I’d take a chance on Richardsons elite physical ability before I drafted Stroud who did nothing but stat pad in the Big 10

Richardson is Physically gifted but is like Malik Willis. Needs to go to a team where he can sit and learn for two years to become an NFL QB
QBs who only start for one season are less likely to succeed. Richardson has only played one, season. QBs needs as many reps as possible when in college. He along with Tanner McKee Should have stood for 1 more year. The jury is still out on Trey Lance who only started for 1 season, and 1 game the following year.
I am a Colts fan and if you watch slowed down tape on Richardson you can see when his throws are off it is in his footwork. We hired a head coach in Shane Steichen who can fix this footwork issue. I believe that Steichen can turn Richardson into a top 5 quarterback in the NFL. Indianapolis should draft and not look back. Having Jonathan Taylor and Anthony Richardson in the same backfield would be like having a 3-alarm fire that could break out and burn a defense at any time!

Something that isn’t pointed out enough is the exponential growth that we’ve already seen from his freshman year to now. Extrapolating further to his high school days, the growth is even more substantial. He has the tools and abilities that can’t be taught, and has shown significant improvement in the areas that can be taught. I believe working with more positive game scripts and with more precise offense play calling could make this kid effective from Day 1.
The Texans hiring Bobby Slowik, a Shannahan understudy, would be a fantastic fit. Along with the positive environment DeMeco will create. I think the combine and pro days will be a showcase for Anthony Richardson. I am willing to bet he’s already a better player now than his last game of the season.
