The Cuban government has implemented various policies to mitigate the impact of economic challenges on its citizens. For example, the country operates a dual currency system. The CUC is primarily used in the tourist sector, while the CUP is used by locals for basic goods and services. However, this system has led to inequality in the distribution of wealth, with those working in the tourist sector receiving higher wages than those in other sectors.

Great footage, absolutely one of the best I've seen on Cuba but would have been even better with commentary and without the bleeps.

Speaking Spanish, I was a month in the south of Cuba in 1996. The people were great, warm, friendly and unadulterated. The Cuban economic system is a disaster with most people struggling to keep body and soul together each day. The communist thugs who run the country live like the pigs in the story "Animal Farm.' Like in the book, in Cuba "all animals are equal…..but some are more equal than others." It is the loss of opportunity that is the dead bird lying in the streets of Cuba……thanks to the communists and the delusional idealists that support them.

Cuba parou no tempo.
They Chose to be socialist , meaning economy is determined by society. Cuba is about the people not the buildings why not you interview cubans instead of showing us the building. Capitalists develop their countries infrustructuraly but forget to keep community on the same economic level. One class Accumilates more than the rest.

The Cuban Government Officials were in the United Nations berating Israel for their treatment of the Palestinians and here we have the Cuban Government mistreating their own people.
You can certainly see the money isn’t being used for the people but only the chosen few.
Give it another twenty years and all those buildings will have fallen down into dust and that is Cuba – A Country Of Dust.
