I am so happy to have purchased a "pocket" sized GARMIN complete with a GPS SOS button for emergency rescue !!⛺️🛤🛶
😢😮
Cold weather induced hypothermia can prevent blood loss. Could explain how she survived so long after being injured
DEMOCRATs ruin everything..Randy was abhorred by his democrat majority ruining.the park with regulation and ASSININE POLICIES
I realize that it was the 60s but in the first story, the rangers death is on the hands of the forest service who just left him to attempt the rescue alone. Where was the backup? Where was the help?
It sounds like Randy might have been depressed or in some mental/emotional funk with his responses about the dying trees and the flowers.
I tell you something and I’m not kidding you, all these strange disappearances and there are thousands would all be solved in time by one person who is sadly dead……Jessica fletcher .
It’s easy to get lost in the vast wilderness. There is no evidence of supernatural forces but it’s easy to explain that’s what happened while omitting certain details. There is no such thing as perfect health and your mental health can decline any time.
Life is hard, it's harder when you're stupid.
👍🐿🙁
Tourniquet 💯🤟
Know it aall Margaret caused the entire thing.
The united states actually has both rangers and wardens, they are just different things. Rangers work for parks, but wardens are law enforcement officers.
I'm not sure bit I think aliens are the ones who change the weather. The weather definitely does just change on it's own but is controlled by something with that ability and many other abilities.
Margaret surely caused two deaths.
Hunters do it all the time,
She's not the only one going unprepared.
Thankyou MPM 💯👍🇦🇺☕
Not quite off topic, you might look at other large wilderness areas, including military installations. Camp Pendleton, for example, has 125,000 acres and its own rangers, though I am not sure what the proper title is.
I’m so damn tired of ppl bringing up suiside as n answer! Give it a rest!
What a shame that America won’t take care of our rangers! They should be paid handsomely! And have all benefits! How sad. Disgraceful America! Shame on us!

Did you know it feeds on comments, replies and likes to both?
If you feed it you can watch the channel grow. "
margaret probablly injured herself days AFTER calling out to her friend and the ranger. she said that she would attempt her own escape, and probably fell again trying to climb out. so it was not the initial fall that killed her, but a second or third attempt at trying to save herself.
Like police, I do not think a cop or a park Ranger should ever be without a partner!😢😢😢😢😢❤❤❤❤
Maybe people just need to admit their faults and lack luster for not checking the area the radio was found in rather than saying it was checked multiple times and must of been put there after, then there’d be no need to make up stupid conspiracies.
The Margrets of the world are the worst…
The first hiker. Maybe she hurt herself after Ralph was on his way. Maybe she thought I can't wait here, I'll die. So she tried to get out then hurt herself and passed away.
Poor Ralph!!! 💔😢
Selfish deliberate Margaret not a good friend to Helen, Helen was a good person to go out on the hike with her, as for the ranger it's hard to believe that he actually went out four times, I'm thinking maybe he lied about hearing Margaret bcuz after Helen told him how stubborn Margaret was on insisting that they go off trail he might have felt that she put Helen in a dangerous situation so why should he put himself out for her 😮 it's just my creative writing mind at work 🤩 have a peaceful day everyone 💙🕊️🍵
I had a friend like Margaret who once invited me up to her grandparents cabin in lake Tahoe, and when I wouldn't chant the Buddhist chant with her she abandoned me at a car rental place, so I rented a car and enjoyed myself at the beach 🏖️ where I saw her the next day. I drove back to San Francisco by myself with no problem, except for it was a bit scary bcuz the highway I took was very windy 🥺 after that I didn't trust anyone anymore
If you think you know better than the Rangers and don't need to follow rules, STAY HOME.
I like your channel and find it well researched and produced 🙂 however, I struggle with the supernatural/conspiratorial angle and am genuinely curious as to why people think this. The way I see it, people explore the wilderness every day, in good weather and conditions, and nothing happens to them. So we obviously don’t hear stories about that. As well, freak weather conditions happen all over the globe every day, national parks or not. When you put the two together and someone happens to be exploring a national park when freak weather arrives, this is when we hear stories of people dying/disappearing/getting lost. In my opinion, the ‘phenomenon’ such as sudden storms or wind are much better explained as the CAUSE of the death/disappearance, rather than being a diversion for a supernatural kidnapper. I of course like to keep an open mind, but as an earlier commenter pointed out, Occum’s razor seems to be the likely explanation here. Keep up the great work!
